Green technologies for a sustainable future, Marcel Meeuwisse and Xavier Deruyttere, Allnex
This presentation will outline our Ecowise™ portfolio management and green goals, moving from the past to the present, and into the future. We will provide an overview of our existing portfolio of bio-based solutions as well as our upcoming projects. In addition, we will introduce a range of water-based and radiation curable development products with renewable content, which would rank in the most stringent labeling criteria for their respective segments.Our company is committed to co-developing and investing in a more sustainable value chain. Together with our customers and suppliers, we want to build a greener future.
Sustainability is also reflected in a desire for more energy efficient processes. LED curing is gaining market interest to meet this demand and allnex has developed systems that can be used in wood primers and sealants under LED curing conditions. In this talk, we will highlight some recent developments in the field where LED curing is combined with bio-based resins.
